# CashStratum > Open-source Bitcoin Cash (BCH) stratum server and solo mining pool software, derived from CKPool. A C mining engine with native CashAddr payouts and a separate read-only Go operator API. Licensed GPL-3.0-or-later. Official site: https://cashstratum.com/. Consult the release tag's documents when configuring that version; main-branch documentation can change. CashStratum is software. BlockSniper is a reference deployment; pools are independently operated. The Go API provides data for dashboards, share-quality displays and block events. Charts, sounds and confetti are implemented by the consuming application. Authenticated endpoints belong behind an application backend; never expose the bearer key in a public browser. Proof snapshot 2026-10-26: 90 unique BCH mainnet blocks across the documented software lineage, including 22 CashStratum-era blocks and 57 entries with solve logs. The earlier EloPool deployment used skaisser/ckpool (a modified CKPool). Block 966569 used pre-release CashStratum before the public name.
